Delegates from the Korea Football Association have called for fair and transparent elections, fearing an administrative vacuum caused by the delay in the presidential election.
At the first extraordinary general meeting in 2025 held at the Korea Football Center in Sinmun-ro, Seoul on Tuesday, delegates adopted a statement calling for a fair presidential election. The general meeting was held with 24 out of 34 delegates in attendance.

The delegates said in a statement, "The various competitions will begin in February, and an unprecedented crisis could arise due to the delay in the election of the president of the association and the appointment of executives." In particular, he stressed that "the reorganization of the election management committee should be transparent so that situations such as the citation of the presidential injunction do not recur."

They also called for a fair campaign for the development of Korean soccer, saying, "We must strongly respond to false facts and groundless slander that causes distrust among the people and division of the soccer community." 토토사이트
